We are our worst enemy. We sabotage ourselves. We do not give ourselves enough encouragement, love or support. We let others mold us. We let them put us down. The worst thing is that we begin to believe them. Our self esteem is very low.
Well, it is time to put an end to this dilemma. We all have an inner diva. We are all beautiful! We are worthy. Our problem is that we do not believe in our self worth and our own power. We can move mountains. We can achieve our goals. We can reach our destination. We can get healthy.
I find that the more that I believe in myself, the stronger I get. I must remain motivated and positive. Of course, this is not a simple task. It can not be done overnight. It is very difficult, but it does get easier. The more that I implement my new techniques, the better I feel. The better I feel, the more weight that I lose, the positive cycle continues.
I must talk to myself and constantly send myself positive messages. I have to push myself to go clothes shopping. I need to buy new clothes in smaller sizes. I need to buy sexy clothes too. Many times my mind still sees me at the 350 pounds with a BMI of 56. I go to the store and at times have anxiety attacks. As I lose more weight, I get better. I am feeling sexier. I love my new clothes especially in size 16. I remember what it felt like when the sales lady at a “big size store” told me that if I got any bigger I would have to buy from the catalog. I was a size 32-34. Size 16 is great, but I am really looking forward to fitting into a size 14.
My message is that we must believe in ourselves. We must love ourselves too. Our minds can be re-trained. We can start feeling good. We can be sexy!
Start today! Buy something sexy, even if you cannot wear it yet. You can have your hair done. Get a manicure and pedicure. Try a new perfume. Look into the mirror and smile. Create a mantra and start repeating it over and over.
