Changing Our Relationship With Self!

I have been thinking a lot lately about the many times that I have started a diet.  I have started diets so many times that I have actually lost count.  I do remember that my first diet was in 1974.  I was 14 years old.  I weighed 174 pounds and got myself down to 159 pounds.

I have been very successful about four times.  I recall that I have always been highly motivated, but somehow that feeling dwindles very quickly after awhile.  How can it be that you want something so badly and you lose sight on the prize?

I think it has a lot to do with the relationship that we have with ourselves.  Do we really want to be thin, toned and healthy?  Do we deserve to reach our goal?  Why do we allow people, feelings and excuses to ruin our success?  How important are we?

We need to answer these questions.  We must take care of ourselves.  We must change our attitude.  We have to think positive.  We must believe that we can do it.

It is by no means an easy endeavor.  If it was easy, everyone would be thin.  It is a long process, but so worth it.  Begin to see things in a positive light.  The glass is half full, not half empty!

Visualize yourself at your goal weight.  Create a visualization board.  Encourage yourself.  Think positive!  Believe it and become it!

Do not get in your own way!  Stop any and all negative thoughts!  You can do this!
